Old human skills for the new world of work.
The first thing I do every day is write three pages of uncensored thoughts before the world gets loud. That practice—the morning pages—is the engine behind everything I publish. It’s where my essays are born, where my courses take root, and where I keep learning to think clearly in a noisy age.
I’m a nonfiction essayist, and my work lives at the intersection of leadership, critical thinking, and the future of work. I’m drawn to the capacities that technology can’t replicate:
- The courage to speak an uncomfortable truth before you have to.
- The discipline to think in probabilities, not certainties.
- The quiet architecture of trust that holds teams together when everything else is shifting.
Why this matters now
We’re entering an era where AI generates synthetic certainty on demand—plausible answers, polished language, and seductive half-truths. The leaders and thinkers who will thrive are the ones who double down on the very human skills machines can’t fake: honest communication, calibrated judgement, and the ability to create psychological safety at scale. That’s the territory I explore in every essay.
The deeper work: my courses
These aren’t just ideas I write about. I’ve built the Integrated System for the Future of Work (ISFOW) — a framework for thriving when the rules keep changing — and I teach two core courses inside it:
1. The ISFOW Leadership Accelerator Communication, culture, and the unshakeable trust that creates high performance. [Link]
2. Critical Thinking in the AI Era From calibrating your confidence to spotting synthetic certainty before it fools you. [Link]
On Medium, you’ll read the essays that feed these courses and the thinking that spills out between them. My goal is always the same: give you something you can use in your next meeting, a question that rattles your assumptions, or a practice you can try tomorrow morning.
Let’s stay connected
I’m a Top Writer on Medium, but more importantly, I’m a fellow traveller trying to get better at the things that matter. If you’re building a business, leading a team, or simply trying to think clearly in a noisy world, you’re in the right place.
